Can you suggest a ranking system in a fantasy world?
Sure. Do it like all the Japanese fantasy novels do.
Things and people start somewhere at F rank, and each next rank is one previous letter - E, D, C, B and finally A. To give you a sense of scale, E rank is a typical fantasy adult, D rank is a typical fantasy adventurer, A rank is a typical mythological demigod hero like Hercules. Overall, expect each next rank to be worth 10 of the previous rank in a fight.
When your power levels get out of hand, it’s time to introduce S rank, which is for people more awesome than A rank. Like actual gods and your protagonist.
When power levels really get out of hand, you introduce ranks like SS, SS+, SSS, and SSS+.
If you still don’t have enough ranks, it’s time to abandon ranks altogether. Your power levels have inflated out of usefulness. But you might ask Chinese fantasy authors - I hear their “cultivators” reach absurd power levels routinely, they must have a system for classifying them.
